About the Artist
At the age of 5, I began making greeting cards for family members at Christmas, Valentine’s Day and on birthdays. When my high school art teacher took an interest in my work I began to think seriously of becoming an artist.
I enrolled in The College of Saint Rose’s graphic design BFA program, which is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). It was an excellent program, but I was drawn to the then-new communications and marketing degree, which I earned in 1986.
I worked as a graphic designer and copy writer in St. Louis and Boston for five years. In 1991, I moved to Florida where I continued painting as a hobby.
I've recently expanded my portfolio to include handmade greeting cards, bringing me full circle to my original passion.
“My art flows from my heart and is a celebration of the beautiful, colorful world God has created for us.
I'm currently working in acrylics to create vibrant images that convey and evoke a passionate emotional response.”
